Hello!

We’re Daniel and Leo, two Finnish students at Aalto University. Through more than two decades of combined experience in fitness and training, we've realized that nutrition is the very foundation of our overall health and well-being. No matter how good your daily habits are or how carefully your workout routines are designed, what you eat ultimately shapes how you feel, function, and perform.

But we have also noticed a problem.

Traditional meal plans and diets are built around perfect days and the assumption that you live like a robot. They dictate exactly what to eat, how much to eat, and when to eat it. Real life, however, rarely follows a perfect plan.

We have seen friends become stressed because they missed breakfast, ate something different than planned, or joined an unexpected lunch with colleagues. Without realizing it, one friend summed up the whole problem in a single sentence:

“My diet is already ruined today.”

It should not feel that way.

Missing one meal or changing your plans should not turn an entire day into a failure. Yet traditional diets often make people feel that they have only two options: follow the plan perfectly or give up. That all-or-nothing mindset can make healthy eating unnecessarily restrictive, stressful, and difficult to maintain.

We started asking a simple question:

What if the meal plan adapted to your life, instead of forcing your life to adapt to the meal plan?

That question became the foundation of Neutrien.

We started visioning a new kind of personalized meal-planning experience, one that keeps us true to our goals but accepts the randomness of our hectic lives. When your plans change, your meal plan should change with them. You should be able to rebalance the rest of your day automatically based on what you actually eat, helping you stay on track without guilt, rigid rules, or the feeling that one unexpected meal has ruined everything.

The ultimate goal is to give people practical help that works in real life, whether they want to improve their performance, change their body composition, or simply build a more balanced and healthy way of eating.

Because taking care of yourself should not require perfection
