1. About These Terms
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the website located at https://www.neutrien.io/ and any related webpages, surveys, forms, launch-list registrations, interview applications, communications, and pre-launch promotions made available through the website (collectively, the “Website”). By accessing the Website, submitting a survey or form, joining the launch list, requesting a launch benefit, or applying to participate in an interview, you confirm that you have read and agree to these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you should not use the Website or submit information through it.
2. Current Pre-Launch Status
Neutrien is currently in development and has not yet been commercially launched. Information on the Website about the proposed Neutrien mobile application, including its features, functionality, availability, subscription options, prices, health-related tools, launch date, and supported devices, is preliminary and may change. Nothing on the Website constitutes a guarantee that: the application will be launched; it will be launched on a particular date; every described or displayed feature will be included; the application will be available in every country or on every device; the final design will match demonstrations, mock-ups, screenshots, or descriptions on the Website; or any particular price or subscription plan will be offered. We may modify, delay, suspend, or discontinue the Website, the proposed application, a feature, a promotion, or the development project at any time, subject to applicable law. Joining the launch list, completing a survey, or participating in an interview does not create a right to access the application or require you to purchase anything.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old, or the minimum age required in your country to provide valid consent to the processing of your personal data, to submit a survey, join the launch list, or provide an email address through the Website without the involvement of a parent or legal guardian. You must be at least 18 years old to enter into any binding purchase or subscription agreement unless applicable law permits otherwise. By using the Website, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you meet the applicable age requirements. We may decline or remove a submission where we reasonably believe that the eligibility requirements have not been met.
4. Permitted Use of the Website
You may use the Website only for lawful, personal, and non-commercial purposes. You must not: interfere with the operation or security of the Website; attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Website, its servers, databases, forms, or connected systems; introduce malware, harmful code, automated scripts, bots, or scraping tools; submit false, misleading, fraudulent, or impersonated information; submit another person’s email address or personal information without their permission; manipulate a survey, promotion, launch-list registration, or discount process; attempt to obtain more than one benefit through duplicate, automated, or misleading submissions; copy, reproduce, distribute, or commercially exploit Website content without permission; use the Website in a way that infringes another person’s rights; or use the Website for any unlawful, abusive, discriminatory, or harmful purpose. We may restrict or block access to the Website where we reasonably believe these Terms have been breached.
5. Surveys and Research
Neutrien may invite Website visitors to complete surveys concerning nutrition, meal planning, lifestyle preferences, application features, pricing, or related subjects. Participation is voluntary. You may stop completing a survey before submitting it. You agree to provide responses honestly and, where possible, avoid including unnecessary personal information in open-text fields. You must not include personal information about another person unless you have their permission to do so. Survey responses may be used to: understand prospective users and their needs; conduct market and product research; design, test, and improve Neutrien; assess demand for proposed features and pricing; identify potential interview participants; and generate aggregated or anonymised insights. Our processing of personal data collected through surveys is explained in our Privacy Policy. Unless expressly stated otherwise, survey participation is not a competition, lottery, employment application, professional consultation, or offer to enter into a contract.
6. Email Address and Launch Communications
When you provide an email address, we may use it for the specific purposes explained next to the relevant form and in our Privacy Policy. These purposes may include: confirming that we received your submission; delivering or recording your eligibility for a launch benefit; informing you when Neutrien launches; contacting you about an interview for which you volunteered; responding to your questions; and sending product news or promotional messages where you have separately consented to receive them. Submitting an email address to receive a launch benefit does not automatically authorise us to send unrelated marketing communications unless the form clearly asks for, and you provide, separate marketing consent. Where marketing consent is required, it must be given through a voluntary affirmative action, such as selecting an unticked checkbox. You may withdraw your consent at any time by using the unsubscribe link in a marketing email or contacting us at contact@neutrien.io. Withdrawing marketing consent will not affect your ability to use the public Website. It also will not affect processing that occurred lawfully before the withdrawal. Administrative messages directly related to a survey submission, interview request, requested discount, privacy request, or service transaction are not necessarily marketing communications.
7. Launch Discount and Promotional Benefit
The Website currently advertises a potential 30% launch discount or “founding-member” benefit for qualifying participants. Unless a specific promotion page states otherwise, the following conditions apply:
7.1 Eligibility
To be eligible, you must: complete the qualifying survey or registration process; provide a valid email address that you are authorised to use; meet the applicable age requirements; comply with these Terms; and receive confirmation from Neutrien that the benefit has been recorded or issued.
7.2 Nature of the Benefit
The discount is a pre-launch promotional benefit. It is not cash, stored value, a financial instrument, a gift card, or a guarantee that a product or subscription will become available. No purchase is required when completing the survey or joining the launch list.
7.3 Application of the Discount
Unless stated otherwise when the benefit is issued: the discount applies only to an eligible Neutrien subscription or purchase identified in the offer; the discount applies to the regular price in effect at the time of purchase; the benefit may be subject to a redemption deadline; only one discount may be used per person, account, household, email address, or transaction; the discount cannot be combined with another promotion unless expressly permitted; the discount is personal, non-transferable, and not redeemable for cash; taxes, app-store fees, third-party charges, or separately priced services may be excluded; and the discount may not apply to purchases made through a third-party platform where that platform does not support the promotion.
7.4 “Lifetime” or Continuing Discounts
Where an offer is expressly described as a “lifetime discount,” “founding-member discount,” or similar continuing benefit, “lifetime” means the period during which: the relevant eligible Neutrien subscription remains continuously active and in good standing; the applicable subscription product continues to be offered by Neutrien; and the user continues to comply with the offer conditions. It does not mean the lifetime of the participant or guarantee that Neutrien, the application, or a specific subscription plan will operate indefinitely. Unless the offer expressly states otherwise, cancelling a subscription may end eligibility for the continuing discount, and the benefit may not be available if the user later subscribes again.
7.5 Changes and Cancellation
We will not arbitrarily withdraw a confirmed benefit after a participant has met the published requirements. However, we may correct obvious errors, reject fraudulent or duplicate submissions, modify an offer before it is accepted, or cancel an offer where the application or relevant product is not launched. Where a promotion is cancelled before redemption, participants will not be entitled to cash compensation solely because the application was delayed, changed, or not launched, except where applicable mandatory law provides otherwise. The exact price, billing period, eligible product, duration, redemption procedure, and expiry date will be communicated before a purchase is made.
8. Interviews and User Research
You may be invited to participate in a voluntary interview, usability test, research call, or similar session. An invitation to apply does not guarantee that you will be selected. We may select participants according to research needs and may cancel or reschedule a session. Before an interview, we will provide relevant practical information, which may include: the subject and expected duration; whether the interview is online or in person; whether compensation is offered; whether audio, video, screen activity, or notes will be recorded; how the research material will be used; and any additional consent requested from you. We will not record audio or video without informing you and obtaining any consent required by applicable law. You may decline to answer a question and may end an interview at any time. Ending an interview will not affect any compensation already earned under the interview’s stated conditions, except where the conditions reasonably require completion of a specified minimum portion of the session. Participation in an interview does not create an employment, contractor, agency, partnership, or advisory relationship. Any payment, voucher, or other incentive for an interview will be governed by the terms communicated in the invitation. Participants are responsible for determining whether they have personal tax-reporting obligations relating to such compensation.
9. Feedback and Suggestions
You may voluntarily provide ideas, comments, feature requests, survey responses, or other feedback about Neutrien (“Feedback”). You retain ownership of any intellectual property rights that you already hold in your Feedback. However, by submitting Feedback, you grant Neutrien a worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, non-exclusive, transferable, sublicensable, royalty-free licence to use, reproduce, analyse, adapt, modify, combine, publish, and otherwise exploit that Feedback for research, development, operation, marketing, and improvement of Neutrien and related products. This licence does not give us the right to publicly identify you in connection with your Feedback without permission. You confirm that you have the right to submit the Feedback and that our permitted use of it will not infringe another person’s rights. You should not send confidential business information, trade secrets, or proprietary material through a general survey or feedback field.
10. Nutrition and Health Disclaimer
The Website and proposed Neutrien application are intended to provide general educational, informational, planning, and self-management tools. They are not currently intended to provide medical diagnosis, medical treatment, emergency care, or personalised advice from a doctor, registered dietitian, pharmacist, or other licensed healthcare professional. Website content and descriptions of proposed features, including nutrition analysis, nutrient-gap information, health-risk alerts, meal plans, dietary suggestions, and similar material: are preliminary; may be based on incomplete information, estimates, databases, algorithms, or user-provided information; may contain errors or omissions; may not account for your complete medical history, allergies, medications, pregnancy, eating disorder history, clinical conditions, or individual requirements; and should not be used as a substitute for professional healthcare advice. Do not disregard or delay seeking medical advice because of information presented on the Website. Always consult an appropriately qualified healthcare professional before making significant dietary changes, particularly if you: have a diagnosed medical condition; take medication; are pregnant or breastfeeding; have food allergies or intolerances; have or may have an eating disorder; are under 18; or have been advised to follow a medically supervised diet. If you believe you may be experiencing a medical emergency, contact your local emergency service immediately. The Website does not currently provide medical services or establish a healthcare professional–patient relationship.
11. Intellectual Property
The Website and its content—including its name, branding, logos, interface, designs, graphics, text, software, databases, videos, illustrations, and other materials—are owned by or licensed to Neutrien and are protected by intellectual property laws. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and view the Website for personal and non-commercial purposes. No ownership rights are transferred to you. You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, publicly display, sell, license, reverse engineer, or create derivative works from the Website or its content except as permitted by law or with our prior written permission. “Neutrien” and associated branding may be trademarks or trade names of Neutrien. No right to use them is granted except as necessary to refer accurately to the Website.
12. Third-Party Services and Links
The Website may use or link to third-party services, such as survey platforms, analytics providers, email-delivery services, appointment-booking tools, video-conferencing platforms, hosting services, social networks, or app stores. Third-party services operate under their own terms and privacy policies. We do not control and are not responsible for their independent content, availability, security, or conduct. A link to a third-party service does not necessarily constitute an endorsement. Information about service providers that process personal data on our behalf should be included in, or made available through, our Privacy Policy.
13. Privacy and Cookies
Our collection and use of personal data are governed by our Privacy Policy, available at: https://www.neutrien.io/privacy-policy
The Privacy Policy forms an important part of the information provided to you when using the Website, but it is not intended to reduce any rights you have under applicable data-protection law. Where the Website uses non-essential analytics, advertising, personalisation, or similar cookies or technologies, we will request consent where required by law. You can manage relevant choices through the Website’s cookie settings, where available.
14. Availability and Accuracy
We try to keep the Website available and its content accurate, but we do not guarantee that it will always be uninterrupted, secure, current, complete, or free from errors. The Website may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, technical problems, security measures, hosting failures, or circumstances outside our reasonable control. We may correct errors and update Website content without prior notice. Mock-ups, prototypes, screenshots, demonstrations, examples, estimated results, and feature descriptions are illustrative and may not represent the final application.
15. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Website is provided on an “as available” basis. We do not make any guarantee concerning: the timing or success of the application launch; the commercial availability of any product; the accuracy or suitability of nutrition or health-related information; any particular personal, dietary, health, fitness, or financial outcome; uninterrupted or error-free Website operation; or the continued availability of any survey, interview, feature, or promotion. Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties, consumer rights, or other protections that cannot legally be excluded.
16. Limitation of Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, intentional misconduct, or death or personal injury caused by negligence where such liability cannot be excluded. Subject to the preceding paragraph and to the maximum extent permitted by law, Neutrien will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or purely economic losses arising from the use of, or inability to use, the Website. Because the Website is presently offered free of charge, our total liability arising out of or relating to the pre-launch Website will not exceed EUR 100, unless applicable mandatory law requires a higher amount. This section does not limit any mandatory rights available to consumers under applicable law.
17. Suspension and Termination
You may stop using the Website and withdraw from optional communications at any time. We may suspend or terminate access to parts of the Website where reasonably necessary to: protect the Website or other users; investigate suspected misuse or fraud; comply with law or a lawful request; enforce these Terms; or discontinue the Website or development project. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination—including intellectual property, Feedback licences, disclaimers, limitations of liability, and dispute provisions—will remain effective.
18. Changes to These Terms
We may revise these Terms to reflect changes to the Website, our business, a promotion, or applicable law. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date. Where a change materially affects an existing confirmed promotional benefit or another ongoing relationship, we will provide reasonable notice where required by law. Changes will apply prospectively and will not remove mandatory consumer rights.
19. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Finland, excluding its choice-of-law rules. If you are a consumer resident in the European Union or European Economic Area, this choice of law does not deprive you of mandatory consumer protections available under the laws of your country of residence. We encourage you to contact us first so that we can attempt to resolve a concern informally. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be handled by the competent courts determined under applicable law. Consumers may bring proceedings in the courts available to them under mandatory consumer-protection rules. Consumers residing in Finland may seek guidance from the Finnish Competition and Consumer Authority’s Consumer Advisory Services and may refer an eligible matter to the Finnish Consumer Disputes Board.
20. General Provisions
If a provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision does not waive our right to enforce it later. You may not assign your rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent. We may transfer our rights and obligations as part of a business reorganisation, financing, merger, acquisition, or transfer of the Neutrien business, provided this does not reduce mandatory consumer rights. These Terms, together with any separate promotion-specific conditions and the notices presented with a form, constitute the agreement concerning your use of the pre-launch Website. If specific written terms for a survey, interview, or promotion conflict with these general Terms, the specific terms will apply to that activity.
